Towy Riders

Towy Riders Cycling Club is based at the outdoor velodrome in Carmarthen Park in West Wales. Founded in 2007, it is oriented towards its youth membership and is involved in many types of cycling including teaching of basic cycling skills, racing fixed and free wheel bikes on the track, circuit racing, cyclo-cross and mountain biking.
It has grown rapidly to become one of the strongest youth cycling clubs in Wales.

We can help you learn and develop your cycling skills in a safe traffic-free environment with British Cycling trained coaches.

Please note that you will need a helmet to take part. We have a limited number of bikes which can be used at our sessions.

Start time - 09.30. Entry £4.00 / rider
Categories - All youth (abcde) plus the younger u8
Format - omnium style
Best 4 results count towards overall - must ride at least 2 freewheel and 1 fixed for overall positioning

New Club Membership Scheme

By becoming a member of Towy Riders / TRCC you will get Ł1 off the cost of taking part in Towy Riders' sessions, will be eligible to receive other club benefits and will be kept informed by email of club news and upcoming events.

There is membership options for under 18s, adults and families and the cost for these for the remainder of 2012 are:

Ł5 for under 18s ( born after 1993 )
Ł10 for adults ( born before 1994 )
Ł15 for families ( covers all the riders in your household )
